The previous Thursday I took a much needed day off from playing chauffeur and took a long awaited trip into Birmingham for the first time in what must be months. Selfridges is is my best friend and my credit cards worst enemy, especially around the make up floor, I mean... who doesn't get tempted every time they walk past the MAC counter?
On this particular occasion it happened to be the Chanel counter that caught my attention, I've always lusted over the Rouge Coco collection since it first was released. The Rouge Coco Shine collection is not one I'd usually go for as it has more of a sheen to my usual matte lipsticks, but it's safe to say I fell in love with these. The particular shade I chose was Antigone, a dark rosy pink colour by appearance which was a tad brighter when applied and is now my new favourite!
I then tok a trip to the oh so close perfume section and since I have been sparingly using the last of my all time favourite Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture it seemed like the perfect time to buy a replacement. After trying all of the Juicy Couture range they had in stock I decided to stick to my favourite as none of the others even compare to this one, it's perfect for whatever time of day or occasion and lasts well throughout the day.
After shopping throughout the rest of the Bullring it seemed perfectly appropriate to pick up some macaroons on the way back to the car, I mean after all I was passing by... The selection I went for included; mint & chocolate, raspberry, nutella and rose flavours.
