So I'm currently writing today's post whilst I'm snuggled up in bed watching some very early episodes of the Kardashians and wearing the most incredible chocolate cake smelling face mask, the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday!
1: Miss Selfridge | 2: ASOS | 3: New Look | 4: New Look | 5: Topshop
This weeks New In items have been painful for me to search through to find as it triggered my 'compulsive I need to clothes shop' mood which I must currently not give into.
The peplum style crop top from Miss Selfridge is my perfect way of merging from winter into spring, anything black is my typical winter statement item however the brightness and the floral print make it seem so much more appropriate for this time of the year!
The jacket from New Look is a type that's been around for ages but recently I've been looking for a less bulky jacket to start wearing instead of big winter coats and this one seems perfect, I always love a bit of leather and I am yet to try out the waterfall style of jacket.
The monochrome trend is once again making a splash and can be seen in almost every store right now! I love this dress from ASOS, the pattern caught my eye straight away and it seems perfect for going from work to a night out for all us busy ladies!
I tend to be one for wearing just pain colour block items and am constantly trying to spice up my wardrobe, the skirt from new look caught my eye and I think that the A-line style is a classic feminine perfect for petites.
My last new in item is this sequin crop top from Topshop, I can never resist sequins or anything shiny so it just had to make my list!
Looking back trough this I feel as though I've used far too many exclamation marks but hey, I'm just the kind of girl that gets too excited by clothes, I can't help it, promise!
Hopefully there will be a few more posts to come next week including more monochrome items as well as some pretty florals so keep your eyes peeled. As for me this time next week I will be basking in the glory that is the beautiful Taylor Swift which has me very excited meaning I'll barely be sleeping this week.
