Now, I've never really done a 'personal life' post but in this case I just have to! Anyone who is around the same age as I am will almost definitely remember and love Busted and were completely devastated when they broke up. So last year when the McBusted tour was announced it's safe to say that my inner 8-year-old fangirl came back out and we managed to bag ourselves tickets when they were released.
Last Friday, after months of waiting and anticipating, my friends and I took a road trip up to Birmingham headed to the LG for the best night in a very long time! A few days before the gig we were contemplating upgrading our tickets to the OMFG zone, after very little convincing we decided to go for it, safe to say it was the best idea we've had.
We were treated to early entry and spent our time standing in a small section that was enclosed by the stage, made friends with a security guard (top tip for gigs, in this case we got handed a setlist after the show), and was only about 5 feet away from the stage.
The whole show was amazing; from entering in a delorean to the flying spaceship stage and the edited version of the infamous wedding speech. The setlist was predominantly Busted tracks, not that I'm complaining at all, but all the great Mcfly tracks were in there too so it was definitely a night of reminiscing and overall was one of the best gigs I've ever been to.
